| To our community,
The officers and members of the South Newton Township Volunteer Fire Company would like to take a moment to acknowledge the support we have received over the last 6 days Many times, our members have been told “thank you for your service” from people here in Walnut Bottom and surrounding areas. Now we would like to take a moment and say in return “Thank you for your support”. As many of you have donated water, Gatorade, food items or made a monetary donation it is a reminder to us that each one of you have our backs while on the recent fires or every emergency that we answer. Many of you have been long time supporters of our Company through our fundraisers but you have gone above with additional donations as well. We are truly blessed to be part of this community. As we move forward from this incident and prepare for the next, we will always remember this last week and not only the 2 wildland fires, but the
outpouring of support we received. If you are still considering supporting us further, please contact us as we assess the cost of our operations, and the replenishment of material used or damaged. If you have ever considered that you may be interested in more than just a donation, PLEASE contact
us. We are always accepting new members at all levels from firefighting to fundraising.
Once again thank you for your support
