| At 08:20 on July 4th crews were dispatched to South Newton Township I-81 north in the area of mile marker 33 for an Auto Accident involving a tractor trailer |

| Crews arrived to find a tractor trailer hauling a load of Target general merchandise had struck the Stoughstown Road overpass and tore open the side of the trailer leaving debris all over the area. Fire Police remained for several hours until relieved by PennDot. |
